Brown Trout needed fresh images for its Brush Dance, Poetry of Rumi calendar, and approached me to create a series of illustrative composites. The Rumi quotes informed my photo picks—all set in the natural world. I melded and layered the compositions until they unfolded into otherworldly mystical dreamscapes. The result was captivating artwork that improved calendar sales and attracted new admirers to the Brush Dance series!
